fuckyeahnailart: paintwithallthecolorsofthewind-: So every high school girl at this time is thinking about prom, it’s completely unavoidable, mainly because people such as myself will not shut up about it. There is a gorgeous dress on modcloth (that is currently out of stock) that my friend absolutely needs for prom, and that dress is what today’s nail design is based upon. I started with a base of Seche Retain followed by a coat of Seche Clear. I then did a base coat of China Glaze White on White followed by two coats of Chanel Flamme Rose to give my nails a slightly off-white color. For the flowers I used a thin striper brush to paint on acrylic paint in white and ultramarine blue. I did this because the colors blended in a more controllable fashion rather than using to polishes of different consistencies and pigment levels. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite. check the dress that inspired me Gorgeous mani inspired by a gorgeous dress!
